VTGCLT Pop!

Posted by | Uncategorized | No Comments

The Holiday season is going to look a lot different this year but that doesn’t mean you can’t still shop small.

We are very excited to be opening an extended version of VTGCLT Pop at the Metropolitan in just two weeks for all of your gift-giving needs!

To be sure everyone has an opportunity to safely shop the 90+ regional brands we are featuring, we will be open for six weeks this year! In addition, we will be offering shopping appointments each morning, curbside pickup for all products, and featuring products from all the brands in our online shop that will all ship together.

Stay tuned for all the details about open hours

VTGCLT Pop – Applications Open!

Posted by | Uncategorized | No Comments

VTGCLT is currently accepting applications for participation in VTGCLT Pop. This will be the sixth year of our full-scale pop-up shop which will be located at a popular shopping destination in Charlotte.

In response to COVID-19 and the cancellation of all markets during 2020, we have decided to extend our pop-up shop to include 6 shopping weekends before Christmas. The shop will be open for weekends only from November 12-December 6, and then will open for more extended hours beginning the weekend of December 11.

2020 Updates + Merch!

Posted by | Uncategorized | No Comments

To say that 2020 has not gone as expected is an understatement. We have missed our Spring Market due to COVID-19, and will be crossing our fingers that our Winter festivities can move forward. As soon as we know more, we will share information here.

In other, more positive news, we are completely obsessed with the design that Emma Headley created for our Spring Market. We were bummed to see it go underused and underseen and so we have made limited edition patches from the design!

We’ve also taken the opportunity to (finally) get all of our merch available in our online shop. Everything is available for shipping and for local pick up. If you would like to show your support for VTGCLT in this time of no events, please consider buying a patch/tote/tee <3

And who knows, maybe sometime soon we will add more vintage and handmade items to the online shop 😉

Spring Market Covid19 Update

Posted by | Uncategorized | No Comments

Happy April, we made it. The sun is shining and the flowers are starting to bloom and we hope everyone is doing as well as possible. 🌸

Four weeks ago, we accepted all of our amazing vendors, and three weeks ago we decided to postpone the Spring Market. We’ve reserved a date in late June with our friends at Camp North End as a make up date. With so much uncertainty, it is hard to know if even that date will be safe, but we hope beyond hopes that it will be—most importantly because that would mean we were all past the worst of this.

VTGCLT is a brand that was founded on the idea of bringing a community of small businesses together. That our voices are louder as one and that through supporting one another we are stronger, and more successful. We believe strongly in this still, and we won’t be trying to replicate the market on-line. Rather, we will quietly plot and plan how in the future we can be together more often and in more meaningful ways.

Hopefully we will see everyone healthy and happy IRL on June 27th, but until then, stay home, stay safe, and save the date 💕
