One lucky Winter Market attendee will win our giveaway! This giveaway is completely packed full of handmade and vintage gifts you can give to your friends and family (or give to yourself!!)! 11 of our amazing Vintage Charlotte Winter Market vendors have contributed to this giveaway, all of the items described in this post are included in the giveaway. The winner MUST claim their prize IN PERSON at The Vintage Charlotte Winter Market (November 18th at The Fillmore).

Winter Market Vendor Spotlight: Kitsch and Fancy

VTGCLT is popping up on November 18th at The Fillmore for the sixth annual Winter Market! Come out and spend the day shopping with over 60 of the region’s best vintage & handmade vendors. $2 general admission 11am-5pm. Want to have first pick at all the goodies? We offer $7 early bird entry at 10am.

Leading up to the market, we’ll be sharing vendor spotlight posts that give you a chance to meet some of our amazing vendors in advance of the market. We are really excited to welcome Sophie from Kitsch and Fancy back to the Vintage Charlotte Winter Market. Kitsch and Fancy specializes in pretty handmade bath and beauty products in equally beautiful packaging. Here is Sophie with a sneak peak of some new products that she is bringing to market:

We have listened to our customers and this year Kitsch and Fancy is excited to bring more ready-made gift boxes for Vintage Charlotte. There will be lots of quirky offerings with our signature sassy packaging. Kitsch and Fancy has added gorgeous bath bombs to our collection of bath goodies. Each bath bomb features dried botanicals and skin-softening kaolin clay and Epsom salts for a relaxing bath experience. The bath bombs will be available in minis, XL bath (super) bombs, and gift sets. The Bombshell Box is a new offering this year and features an assortment of 9 bath bombs packaged up beautifully and ready to give.

Winter Market Vendor Spotlight: Posy

Leading up to the market, we’ll be sharing vendor spotlight posts that give you a chance to meet some of our amazing vendors in advance of the market. We are really excited to welcome Laura from Posy to her first Vintage Charlotte Winter Market. Posy specializes in quality, personal, and purposeful vintage goods. Here is Laura with some of her favorite customer stories and a sneak peak of what she is bringing to market:

At a recent market, I met a new customer, Joshua, who was interested in a 1970’s world globe. He ends up buying it and comes back for his purchase toward the end of the event, saying, “You know how you buy something, and you feel immediate remorse, wondering why you bought that thing? This isn’t one of those times! I love this globe and will keep it forever!” His joy at finding something meaningful was so uplifting! Much like the guy who bought dominoes for his uncle who’d just taught him to play. Or the customer who bought a drinking glass from the World Fair in NYC because he’d been there, the year the glass stated, and had fallen into the fountain, only to have his dad jump in and rescue him. And I love the instance a customer bought a yellow and red floral recipe box because it’s the same one his mom had, and he stayed in my booth texting all his siblings to confirm and share in the excitement.

Posy started off as a love for vintage and has morphed into a matchmaking service, pairing folks with an item that has true meaning to them!

Winter Market Vendor Spotlight: Deliberate Designs

We are really excited to welcome Griffin from Deliberate Designs to their first Vintage Charlotte Winter Market. Deliberate Designs specializes in handmade home decor and textile pieces. Here is Griffin with a look behind the scenes and a sneak peak of what she is bringing to market:

Deliberate Design manifested after a trip to Big Bend National Park. During this trip I woke up every morning with the intention to live deliberately. Small tasks that typically seem pesky in my day to day routine such as waking up at sunrise, brewing coffee or cooking meals shifted to being tasks that I would naturally look forward to. Today it is easy to search for instant gratification, but the work you put into the process is what makes the outcome worthwhile. I learned to fall in love with the process.

We are really excited to welcome Lisette of Eilisain Jewelry to her first Vintage Charlotte Winter Market. Eilisain Jewelry specializes in fierce and edgy jewelry pieces are created by hand and through the process known as lost wax casting. Here is a sneak peak of what they are bringing to market:

The Hunted II Collection is a new spin on the classic Eilisain Jewelry Hunted line. The Hunted II pieces are some of the most versatile in the Eilisain line, they are delicate yet fierce. Cast from the talons of a barn owl (found in the wild) and formed to create powerfully divine pieces.

Summer Market Vendor Spotlight: R&B Printery

Leading up to the market, we’ll be sharing vendor spotlight posts that give you a chance to meet some of our amazing vendors in advance of the market. We are really excited to welcome Robin and Brannon of R&B Printery to their first Vintage Charlotte Summer Market. R&B Printery is an eco-friendly letterpress company specializing in greeting cards, here is a little more about their process and products:

Robin and Brannon Carter of R&B Printery, in Spartanburg, South Carolina are reviving the age-old art of letterpress printing. Creating handmade, eco-friendly works of art to inspire your family’s handwritten memories.Above: Brannon works to ready a printing job on a vintage Craftsman style Chandler & Price printing press, circa 1927.

The gentle squeak, metal clanking and whir of a century-old printing press provides a rhythmic symphony of sounds as they feed and print each card one-at-a-time. Vintage wood and metal hand-set typographic letters are combined with Robin’s hand-drawn designs and a vibrant color palette of hand-mixed soy and reclaimed inks. Above: The hallmark characteristic of letterpress art is the deep, sunken impression of the print.

Robin and Brannon are artisans by trade and environmentalists at heart. As a Green America® Certified Business, they strive to protect natural forests and the wildlife that depend on them by diverting reusable paper waste from landfills. Post-consumer recycling helps create a sustainable market for recycled materials. They encourage their clients to continue the cycle by recycling or composting their letterpress cards and biodegradable, plant-based bio-sleeve packaging.
