VTGCLT is popping up on June 18th at 514 N. College Street for the fifth annual Summer Market! Come out and spend the day shopping with over 60 of the region’s best vintage & handmade vendors. Admission to the market is FREE from 11am-6pm! Get in an hour early at 10am for $5 to get first pick of all the goods.

Leading up to the market, we’ll be sharing vendor spotlight posts that give you a chance to meet some of our amazing vendors in advance of the market. We are really excited to welcome back Christy and Mike of Funkijunk to the Vintage Charlotte Summer Market.  Funkijunk specializes in unusual antique smalls ranging from the Victorian era to the 1970s Here’s a sneak peak of what to expect at the Funkijunk booth at the Summer Market:

We are really excited to offer an opportunity for mentorship with Amy Herman, founder of Vintage Charlotte.

Each Mentor Session Participant will meet with Amy Herman for a one-on-one, 45-minute tailored conversation.  Participants can expect product and branding feedback as well as insight on how to push business forward both in Charlotte and beyond.

The Daily Press CLT will be on hand keeping us caffeinated, Yelp Charlotteis supplying shopping bags for the first 500 customers, King of Pops Charlotte will be there with our sugar rush and Juan Taco Truck and Roots Farm Food will be filling our tummies!

In conjunction with our annual artisan wedding event, we coordinated a styled photoshoot and got to work with some of our favorite local wedding vendors to create all sorts of goodness.  The shoot was featured on Ruffled Blog and that post can be seen here! 

An obsession with antique rugs lead to this glamorous twist on bohemian decor. The rich dark blues and marsala create a sophisticated setting for the gold and white details of the table and the dress to elevated and glow. We allowed the details to evolve in a natural way, the invitations hint towards design elements from the antique rugs and the cake is iced with the intricate lace pattern from the dress.
