Studio {1859}

If you’ve been around a teething baby, you know they grab and put everything in their mouth, trying to sooth those poor aching gums.  Studio {1859} to the rescue!  Check out their new line a line of crochet & wood teething toys and teething necklaces for mamas to wear. The teething toys combine cotton crochet with natural, chemical-free wooden rings to provide a cute, fun and safe alternative to plastic toys. The teething necklaces make a cute accessory for mom to wear to keep their little one entertained while nursing or baby-wearing. The Magpie Co.

Elizabeth Conner has been sewing since she was a teen, has dabbled in other handmade small businesses, and just last year found her footing and passion in her own handmade line for kids: the Magpie Co. Featuring classic design with a modern and comfy twist for even the tiniest fashion forward babes. We pride ourselves on utilizing  ethically sourced textiles from all over the world, all handmade in gorgeous Monroe, North Carolina, a small town right outside of Charlotte.

Little Tonto

Little Tonto is inspired by Mindy’s son Isaac, who has a genetic disorder called Fanconi Anemia. A small part of the disease is that the children always are very tiny. (You can read more about Isaac’s story here.) Mindy couldn’t find shoes to fit him, so she gathered some leather scraps & scissors & started testing out all sorts of little boots & shoes. She quickly fell in love with making little moccasins & trying new fun creative designs.  Check out these gorgeous little mocs from her summer market line:

Bunch Collective

Bunch Collective is back with whimsical, one-of-a-kind crochet toys and decorative objects!  It all started with a toy crafted for Nicci’s own kids–it was so much fun she wanted to make more and more! Look at how much personality is in each one of these faces.  Sol pillows and colorful garlands will be back, together with fruits and vegetables, and other happy characters.  Each piece is crafted lovingly by hand. Check out some of the inventive details in these creatures:

As an adoptive family, Dunlap Love supports families bringing children home, with 20% of profits each month.

Zoe Girl Designs

Zoe Girl Designs is a handmade apparel line based in Concord, NC. After the birth of her third child, Donna decided to leave the legal field.  A year later, she started sewing, and Zoe Girl Designs followed soon after.  The summer market line will feature colorful sundresses, bubble shorts, and bodysuits.
