Admission to the market is $2 from 11am-6pm! Get in an hour early at 10am for $7 to get first pick of all the goods.
Leading up to the market, we’ll be sharing vendor spotlight posts that give you a chance to meet some of our amazing vendors in advance of the market. We are really excited to welcome Jesse of Tarpin Vintage to his first Vintage Charlotte Market. Tarpin Vintage specializes in modern, 20th century design. Here is Jesse from Tarpin Vintage:
I grew up in New York and later moved to California before I decided, after extensive travel, to settle in the south. North Carolina has become my home. As kids me and my youngest brother loved to go to the thrift stores to see what cool items we could find. We preferred the thrift store clothes and later furniture that we could fix up as opposed to buying new.
Vintage has always been something I have been drawn to, and most of the time, the vintage pieces are of higher quality then what is mass produced today.
I love good design wether it be in architecture or a piece of furniture. I like simple and well built pieces and am drawn to the early modern movement. Tarpin Vintage has become a collection of the pieces I find in my travels that are appealing to me.
