One of our favorite ladies will be joining us for Something Old, Something New… Marcy from Eclectic Orchid is back! Marcy has been with us at every Vintage Charlotte event thus far! There are only a handful of vendors that can say that! Her handmade jewelry is the bees knees! Her etsy shop tag line pretty much says it all: Jewelry to ignite the imagination & sparkle the soul. Here is a little sneak peak of what Marcy has in store for Something Old, Something New:
Not all brides are looking for pearls! In fact many are seeking a unique statement piece… enter Amy from Agate & Elm who will be joining us for Something Old, Something New on April 13!
Here’s a little bit about Agate & Elm from the artist herself:
“Agate & Elm is a modern jewelry line created by hand in Charlotte and inspired by organic textures, patterns, and shapes. Each design is a reflection of the natural world, seen through the lens of a jewelry artist. All of my designs are made solely by my two hands in my home studio and each piece is one-of-a-kind. My new work incorporates the textures of the native flora awakening from the earth all around my studio. I am always happy to create custom pieces on request that may incorporate your favorite natural element.”
Chelle and Robert from the collection of etsy stores (Chelle’s Treasures, Chelle’s Jewels, Wagner’s Treasures and Chelle’s Kitchen) always have the most interesting and lovely items to bring with them to our Vintage Charlotte events… Something Old, Something New will be no exception! Check out this gorgeous vintage jewelry they will be bringing:
Thank you to everyone who came out to shop our Holiday Market, we had so much fun and can’t wait to pop up again soon! Here are some photos from the event!
I will be bringing some of my Memory Collector necklaces with me. They are a combination of salvaged buttons, repurposed chandelier crystals, vintage lockets, and an assortment of new pretties as well. Here is the story behind them:
And as the years passed, she began to gather her collection of bits and baubles, trinkets of days gone by, reminders of what once was. As she positioned each one on the chain, she was flooded with memories, of happiness, of life, of love. Each piece had a story to tell, its history known only to her. And so, she would continue to collect her memories, sharing them with others to give them new meanings, new purposes, new tales to be told by those who came to cherish them…
